Invest is a discipleship course that is designed for those who want to grow in their love for God, in their understanding of Scripture, and in godliness through the application of the Gospel to their lives.

Open to all members of Sovereign Grace Church, Invest is run by our pastor, Dave Taylor. He has designed the course to accomplish the above objectives by utilising two clear components:

1. Study
Growth in our Christian walk takes place through the reading of God's Word and other good books/resources that help us to understand and apply the Bible to our lives. Each Invest participant therefore receives monthly assignments that include reading books, articles, or chapter excerpts, listening to sermons and processing through application questions.

2. Discussion and Application
Study would be incomplete without application. Each of the Invest meetings include a discussion over the materials that have been assigned with the aim of knowing how to apply the material to our own lives, as well as case studies to help us apply it to the lives of others.

Ultimately, this is course that works on the premise that 'what you get out of it will be determined by what you put into it'. All Invest participants are encouraged to make attendance to the monthly mid-week meeting a priority, humbly open up their lives as they apply the studies in the meetings and faithfully read the assignments. God promises to bless those who seek to hear and apply His Word, raise up those who pursue humility, impart wisdom to those who seek it, and meet with those who seek to meet with him…. What a faithful promise that is.
