Online Protection Recommendations
Protecting our families online can sometimes seem really challenging. But actually, there are some really great resources you may want to consider. Let me tell you about three helpful resources.
Andy Crouch has written a excellent book called, ‘The Tech-Wise Family’. In this book he provides some really creative steps for putting technology in its proper place, especially within our homes. This comes highly recommended.
There are many internet filters you can choose from, but your pastors use Covenant Eyes. Covenant Eyes seeks to not only provide you with an internet filter, but to help you not walk alone in your own pursuit of holiness when it comes to your online activity. With this internet filter, you choose some accountability partners, who get a report of how you are going in your online activity, which is a wonderful means of grace as well as an extra measure of accountability.

The final online protection recommendation that may benefit your family is called the Circle. The Circle is a in home online control for the internet and mobile devices. This device can set time limits, filter content, pauses the internet and allows you to see what sites are being visited and viewed. The Circle pairs with your home WI-FI and lets you manage every device on your network, both wired and wireless, without ever needing to put software on them.
These are just recommendations, but we want to do all we can to serve you in what is particularly a common area we might be tempted in.
